Lara Logan

 Lara Logan, born 29/03/71 is an South African television journalist and war reporter. She was a CBS News reporter from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan have called her factually incorrect and politically biased report on the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the biggest mistake of my 10 years of watching." In 2019 she was hired by Sinclair Broadcast Group, which is a conservative media company. In January 2020 she joined Fox Nation. Fox News is a streaming service that requires a subscription. She informed Fox News in March 2022 that she'd been "dumped". Logan was a news reporter for Durban's Sunday Tribune (1988-1989) and the Daily News (1990-1992). She was hired by Reuters Television Africa in 1992 as an executive producer. After four years in the company, she began freelance journalism. Assignments included those as a reporter/editor/producer with ITN, Fox/SKY News in London, CBS News, ABC News in London, NBC, NBC and European Broadcasting Union. She worked for CNN covering events such as the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Nairobi and Tanzania, the conflict in Northern Ireland, and the Kosovo war.
